Mayfield recorded a fantastic victory over Kanturk last night in the County IFC Semi-final. They went into the game as underdogs and proved that they meant business with a goal in the opening minutes. From there on, the game ebbed and flowed and it wasn't until Mayfield scored their second goal through super-sub Terry Lotty, that they eventually began to pull away. They now take on Fermoy in the county final in Páirc Uà Rinn in two weeks.
