Our Intermediate Footballers staged a dramatic comeback in the last few minutes of the Intermediate Football Championship Final at Páirc Uí Rinn last Saturday. Losing by five points with just over ten minutes remaining, all looked lost for our hopes of a first county title since the Junior Hurling Championship victory in 1978. However, our lads never dropped their heads and managed to pull Fermoy back, score after score. The lads can take great pride in the comeback from a seemingly impossible deficit, but they know that there is a lot that they can improve upon. The replay takes place next Saturday in Páirc Uí Rinn at 3:30. Please come out and support!
