Mayfield Advance to County Semi-Final - 2015-08-22 14:15:00
Our Intermediate Footballers progressed to the semi-final of the County Intermediate Football Championship with a victory over Glanmire this evening. Our lads were the better team for most of the game, commanding a 9 point lead coming into the final stages of the game. However, to their credit, Glanmire staged a late comeback to ensure there were nervous times for everyone attending the game. In the end, bravery and determination drove the lads through and the game ended Mayfield 0-15 Glanmire 1-09. We will play the winners of Kanturk and Cill na Martra in the semi-final.
